After winning their 4th straight Bi-District title, the Lady Highlanders season is now over. They finished with an overall record of 24-7 and 12-2 in district play. They played last years state champs, Canyon High School. The game was held at Odessa Permian High school on friday. The final score was 46-34.

Senior forward Victoria Avedician reflected on the season.

“Winning our 4th straight Bi-district championship is such a great feeling. Although we would’ve liked to have won on Friday, I know each of us gave it our all.”

Junior forward Ale Guerra agrees with Victoria.

“We gave it our all throughout the season and in playoffs. I’m glad I was able to play with this years seniors.”

The Lady Highlanders improved from last year 15-9 overall record and also improved from a 6-5 district record.
