One Direction has already made two successful albums in the three years they have been around. Their recent new album “Midnight Memories” is No. 1 top selling in many countries including in the USA. “Midnight Memories” was released on Monday Nov. 25 and their fans or “Directioners” as they are known have been going crazy to buy the album. The album is amazing, well written, and is the favorite album out of their three.

Directioners were so ecstatic when “Story of my Life” was released, which is on the album, they made it No. 1 on iTunes. “Story of my life” already has 55,823,969 views on youtube because of Directioners. To say they are excited is an understatement.

The album also includes their hit single “Best Song Ever”. Songs included are “Midnight Memories”, “Strong,” “Diana,” “Happily,” “You and I,” “Don’t Forget Where You Belong,” “Better Than Words,” “Right Now,” “Little Black Dress,” “Little White Lies,” “Through The Dark,” “Something Great,” “Why Don’t We Go There,” “Does He Know,” “Alive,” and lastly “Half a Heart.” Most of the songs are written by Louis Tomlinson one of the band members. The other band members, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Zayn Malik, have written some songs as well.

“Best Song Ever” was a huge hit but “Story of my Life” showed a more mature side to these boys when they made the video about their families. This touched many hearts because it showed everyone just because they are huge stars doesn’t mean they will forget about their families. “Don’t Forget Where You Belong” is a song about not forget where you came from, for the boys it means how they will never forget where they were they belong. “Midnight Memories” has a little more rock sound as well as “Alive” does too, they are music is maturing like they are. “Diana” is such a beautiful song written for the fans who go through tough times and need help getting through these tough times.

“Midnight Memories” deserves a rating of 10 on a scale of 1 being the worst and 10 being the very best. “Midnight Memories” is now available everywhere as of Monday in all stores. At Target it cost $12.99 for the normal version and $22.99 for the ultimate edition which includes four extra songs.
